Decide the theme

Select a theme for the office. Decide the type of atmosphere that you want to encourage in most of the spaces. For instance, if you want a serious professional outlook, an informal studio for encouraging the employees or a relaxing work vibe.

Choose the partitions carefully

Depending on the theme of your office, the partitions should be chosen. You can keep an open plan and yet differentiate between the spaces with rugs. The spaces can also be flexible with movable screens and writing boards, which can be used to form cubicle like arrangement but at other times it can be placed aside and make it a discussion area. Bring in the community. Work with the local artists or product designers. This spreads the word of your office faster than you realize. You can also float competitions to select from the locals and see that your ideas of the company align. You can also collaborate with globally renowned artists or manufacturing companies to get what you want for your office.

Let the employees design their desks, cubicles, cabins or offices. According to a study, this would increase their creativity and productivity. It gives them a feeling of possession and belonging for the office, where they are going to spend most of the time of their day. 

Stationery, it may seem trivial but is available on all tables. To personalize the stationery can also give a unifying look with minimal efforts.
