Burning Man, USA
- 7 May 2022
- By Archi Interio

This event began in 1986 and ever since it has been gaining popularity. It includes art installations by different teams representing the theme of the festival of that year. Participants also design their own vehicles and camps. They believe in creative coexistence and are open to radical ideas of expression.
- They also believe in leaving no trace behind after the festival is ended.
- There are some really heavy moments with people, especially the day before they burned it.

The common design characteristics of the temple of all the temples throughout these years is its material. The wood is used for easy and quick assembly as well as easy ignition when it is burnt. The structure is made to withstand the adversities of dessert, like the sand storms and extreme heat. At the same time, it holds a gathering of large number of people. It is also porous, with light penetrating through, even the harsh sunlight of dessert. It acknowledges your mind as soon as you enter, without giving a pause; kind of a direct hit of overwhelming emotions. It is not about achieving a finished product, but about the whole process of building the temple and burning it at the end, to live through the experience.
